Jabsco # 17430-0001 Epoxy Utility Pump 1/2 HP

The Jabsco 17430-0001 is a glass-filled epoxy Flexible Impeller pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Nitrile/Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal, 1/2 Inch NPT Internal Ports, coupled to a 1/2 Horsepower, 1725 RPM, 115 Volts AC, 1 Phase, TEFC, 60 HZ Motor, with a 8 Foot cord Three-pronged Grounded Plug. These pumps can be used where corrosion-resistant phenolic or glass-filled epoxy material, self-priming and debris tolerance are desired. These pumps have an open flow of 11 GPM (42 LPM) flow, are self-priming and will prime at low or high speeds. This pump has a vertical dry suction lift of 6 feet with the Neoprene impeller. Pump will produce suction lift up to 20 feet when wetted. Be sure suction lines are airtight or pump will not self-prime. The Neoprene impeller in this pump is good for water and general-purpose pumping. Temperature limits for Neoprene impeller are 45 degrees F to 180 degrees F ( 7 degrees C to 82 degrees C). Pump may be mounted in any position. Inlet port is on the right and discharge port on the left when facing pump. This unit depends on liquid pumped for lubrication. Do Not Run Dry for more than 30 seconds. Lack of liquid will damage the impeller and the pump components.
