This pump is a compact close coupled centrifugal pump. A synthetic fiber gasket seals the Cast Iron volute to the Cast Iron bracket. The keyed 316 Stainless Steel impeller sits on a 316 Stainless Steel shaft sleeve fitted to the shaft of a NEMA JM footed motor, held by an impeller lockdown, with no coupling and no alignment to hold. It handles liquid temperatures to 300 degrees F, with a maximum solid size of 0.190 inch. This unit is fitted with a Type 21 Viton/Silicon Carbide/Silicon Carbide Mechanical Seal and takes a 2 Inch FNPT Suction and a 1-1/2 Inch FNPT Discharge, and it must be run above its minimum flow of 35 GPM.
