This pump is a compact close coupled centrifugal pump. A Buna o-ring seals the Cast Iron volute to the Cast Iron bracket. The Cast Iron impeller is carried on a 5/8 inch 316 stainless steel hex shaft with setscrews that fits the shaft of a NEMA 56C footless motor, so the pump end mounts straight to the motor with no coupling and no alignment to hold. It handles liquid temperatures to 300 degrees F, with a maximum solid size of 0.380 inch.
