This pump is a compact close coupled centrifugal pump. A vegetable fiber gasket seals the Bronze volute to the Bronze bracket. The Bronze impeller threads onto the motor shaft, so the pump end mounts straight to a NEMA 56J footless motor with no coupling and no alignment to hold. It handles liquid temperatures to 200 degrees F, with a maximum solid size of 0.150 inch. This unit is fitted with a Type 6A Viton/Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal and takes a 3/4 Inch FNPT Suction and a 1/2 Inch FNPT Discharge, and it must be run above its minimum flow of 5 GPM. *** NOTE : this design is intended for liquids with low Specific Gravities and may overload the motor if used with water or higher Specific Gravity liquids.
