Parts Page (click here)The Price Pump CD100AI-425-6A111 is a Close Coupled Centrifugal Pump End, Type CD Series (1 x 1-1/4 x 4.94), with All Iron construction, a 4.25 inch Cast Iron Impeller, Type 6A Buna/Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal, 1-1/4 Inch FNPT Suction x 1 Inch FNPT Discharge, and fits a NEMA 56C face motor. Price Pump Type CD pumps are compact close coupled centrifugal pumps built for clear liquid service. The pump end carries a Cast Iron volute and a Cast Iron bracket, a 316 Stainless Steel stub shaft, and an impeller of 4.94 inches maximum diameter that is trimmed to the duty. The pump end mounts straight to a NEMA 56C face motor, so there is no coupling, no baseplate and no alignment to hold. All Iron construction handles liquid temperatures to 300 degrees F and heads to 95 feet, with a maximum solid size of 0.150 inch and a Pump Energy Index of .930 to .950. This pump end is fitted with a Type 6A Buna/Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal and takes a 1-1/4 Inch FNPT Suction and a 1 Inch FNPT Discharge, and it must be run above its minimum flow of 12 GPM. It is also available with a different impeller diameter: CD100AI-494-6A111 at 4.94 inch, CD100AI-450-6A111 at 4.50 inch, CD100AI-400-6A111 at 4.00 inch, CD100AI-350-6A111 at 3.50 inch and CD100AI-300-6A111 at 3.00 inch. The curve does not draw these diameters; a trimmed pump takes the motor of the next larger diameter the curve does draw. The Price Pump CD100AI-425-6A111 is an All Iron Type CD Close Coupled Centrifugal Pump for water, deionized water, coolants, solvents and clear non-abrasive liquids.
It handles liquid temperatures up to 300 degrees F and develops up to 95 feet of head. Maximum flow is 90 GPM and minimum flow is 12 GPM; running below the minimum flow overheats the liquid in the volute and damages the pump.
These are clear liquid pumps, with a maximum solid size of 0.150 inch, and the suction must be flooded. This pump end is fitted with the Buna/Carbon/Ceramic mechanical seal.
Typical Applications for the Price Pump CD100AI-425-6A111 are vapor degreasing, chiller service, deionized water processing, filter systems, water treatment systems and circulation and filtration.
