Product Information :

The Oberdorfer 107MB-F25 is a Bronze Centrifugal Seawater Pump and motor unit, with 3.44 inch Bronze impeller, Dometic P120Z and P700Z, with Bronze Impeller, Buna Mechanical Seal, 1-1/4 Inch NPT Inlet by 1 Inch NPT Outlet Ports, close coupled to a 1/3 Horsepower, 3450 RPM, 230 Volt, Single Phase, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) Motor, with a comes 7 foot long 18/3 SJO power Cord leads. This pump is a standard pump in the marine air conditioning industry. It has a rugged Cast Bronze construction, with a precision machined and balanced impeller for extremely quiet operation. It pump casing has a convenient casing vent valve, and has discharge port orientation flexibility, with the ability to rotate it in 90 degree increments. This single stage end suction close-coupled pump uses a standard NEMA C-Flange 56J Pump Motor with rigid base and threaded shaft end to accept the pump impeller. The motor has a capacitor start TEFC Enclosure, with a 303 Stainless shaft, thermal overload protection, and a 7 foot long 18/3 SJO power Cord with leads. This long-life centrifugal pump delivers high flows up to 32 GPM with a maximum pressure of 14 PSI. These centrifugal pumps are not self-priming. They must be installed below the liquid level so that the liquid flows to the pump by gravity (flooded suction). However, if a foot valve is used at the beginning of the suction line, and all air is bled from the pump by manual priming, the pump will lift on the suction side up to 15 feet. Such a system relies entirely on the non-leaking foot valve for starting capability. This pump operates by liquid entering at the center and being thrown outward radially by centrifugal force. The impeller is not in contact with other pump parts resulting in quiet, efficient pumping action. The flow produced is not positive which permits the discharge line to be shut off completely without danger of overloading motors or bursting lines. Consequently, a relief valve is not required.
