Applications

Moyno 500 Series 400 Grinder Pumps offer constant, uniform, nonpulsating flow that provides low shearing action for minimum degradation of shearsensitive materials and low velocity capabilities for effective pumping of viscous fluids. This pump does not include the motor, it can be closecoupled to any 56C frame, Cface, 1 HP, 1750 rpm, motor. Motor is bolted directly to pump flange using hardware supplied with pump.

Construction of Pump • Body/Housing Cast Iron • Rotor Heavy duty chrome plated 416 stainless steel • Stator Buna 10160F Temperature Range • Seal Buna Mechanical Seal carbon/ceramic • Cutter Ring Hardened steel • Cutter Disc Cast iron • Cutter Tips Carbide • Ports are 4 inch NPT male connection on suction port, 11/4 inch NPT female connection on discharge port.

Applications • Marine septic systems • Campground and recreational area wastes • Bilge oil transfer • Laboratory testing • Domestic, industrial and public sewage handling installations where gravity flow mains are above the sump or are in remote locations

IMPORTANT To prevent damage to pump, Pump rotation must be clockwise when facing shaft to prevent rotor unscrewing from shaft. Check direction of rotation before startup. DO NOT RUN DRY. Unit depends on liquid pumped for lubrication. NOTE Maximum speed is 1750 rpm and is the recommended speed for most effective grinding.
