Jabsco catalog # 36740-0010, Flexmount 3 Inch Ventilation Blower. Blower is Coupled to a 24 Volt DC Motor. Rated for 150 CFM air flow.
Price : $ 215.84
The Jabsco 36740-0010 is a flexmount 3 inch ventilation blower, rated for 150 CFM, coupled to a 24 Volt DC Motor. These Jabsco blowers are primarily intended for intermittent duty cycles such as evacuating fuel vapors from bilge areas. If desired, they also may be used for other general air circulation applications with longer duty cycles. However, when doing so, it should be noted that the maximum motor life is approximately 1000 hours. Therefore, the blower should only be used for applications if this length of service is acceptable. These quiet-running blowers are designed to allow easy connection to ductwork. They incorporate corrosion-resistant materials throughout. These Flexmount Blowers are of radial design and are installed by attaching a mounting collar (supplied with the blower) around the motor to any convenient solid surface. They can be rotated inside the collar to allow the shortest ducting lengths and most convenient routings in confined spaces. Both ports are designed for slip-on flexible ducting connections.
Blower should be mounted away from extreme heat to prevent distortion of blower wheel or housing.

Jabsco DC Blowers are designed to remove fumes from the engine compartments of gasoline powered boats prior to startup, and therefore conform to ISO 8846 MARINE and USCG Regulations for ignition protection. They are listed as N.M.M.A. type accepted and comply with ISO 9097 MARINE and are CE marked. AC models are not ignition protected. Jabsco Blowers can also be used for air intake or extraction in galleys, bilges, accommodation and head compartments. Blowers should not be installed close to sources of direct heat exceeding 180 degreesF. Mount blower on flat bulkhead surface in highest part of compartment free from spray or deck wash. Blower may be rotated in mounting bracket to facilitate the shortest route of ducting. Use a suitable discharge fitting so that static pressure of blower will not be affected by change in wind direction. Route inlet ducting with as few bends as possible to lower 1/3 of the bilge compartment where vapors are likely to accumulate. Be sure ducting is positioned below top of engine stringers but not so low as to become submerged in bilge water. Locate pickup to take advantage of natural airflow direction. Jabsco flexible ducting No. 349590100 is easy to cut and install.
