Product Information :

The Jabsco 30510-3001 is an epoxy plastic Flexible Impeller pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Nitrile/Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal, 3/4 Inch NPT External Ports, replacement pump end only without a Motor. For these pump head-only models, select a NEMA 56 C-frame C-face Motor rated at 3/4 HP at 1750 rpm with appropriate service factor. Motor must handle high-axial loads. Ball bearings locked against axial movement are recommended. Motor must deliver 1.5ft-lbs and 4.3ft-lbs torque minimum in forward and reverse directions respectively. Use only capacitor start motors. These pumps are self-priming and will prime at low or high speeds. For a vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet (3m) a minimum of 860 RPM is required. Pump will produce suction lift up to 22 feet (6.7m) when wet. Be sure suction lines are airtight or pump will not self-prime. This unit depends on the liquid pumped for lubrication. Do not run this pump dry for more than 30 seconds as a lack of liquid will damage the impeller. The operating temperature limits of the pump depend on the impeller compound. The following ranges apply for Neoprene impellers : 45 degrees F to 180 degrees F (7 degrees C to 82 degrees C). A neoprene impeller is good for water and general purpose pumping.

Motor is NOT explosion-proof. Do not use where flammable vapors are present. Do not run dry.

These pumps can be found in use pumping acids and alkalis.

The corrosive nature of the electro plating process makes these pumps ideally suited to stand the harsh environments they may be exposed to. Typical chemicals used may include sulphuric acid, hydrogen peroxide and aqua regia.

They are also popular in the photographic industry as they are ideally suited at pumping photographic development chemicals.

A high resistance thermosetting plastic pump body.

Servicing and clean out is a simple operation.

Pulsation Free Flow: Delivers a smooth even flow

Non-Shear Action: Will handle delicate fluids

Hard Solid Handling: Passes hard solids or abrasives with minimal wear or damage

Applications

These units are inexpensive, versatile and adaptable for many applications. This pump's gentle pumping action gives excellent suspended solids handling capability, and it can pump very abrasive media. This pump can pump foams, emulsions, gas enriched aqueous materials, and is capable of pumping across a wide range of viscosities. Typical Applications for this pump are pumping Circulating and transferring corrosive liquids, returning spilled liquids to process, transferring foaming solutions with entrained air, such as soaps and detergents, sampling and pilot plant installations. Handles pure solutions, acids, alkalies, photochemicals, dyes, detergents, waxes, gels, solutions with suspended solids and emulsions. This pump is a good selection for filtration of plating solutions, filling and emptying vats, adding chemicals for pH balance, processing lab solutions, medicines, lotions and preparations, filtering pharmaceutical solutions, and transferring liquid fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. The rotation of the pump shaft determines the location of the pump's intake and discharge ports. Pump is normally assembled at factory for clockwise rotation.
