Goulds Pump 7AI1N9D0 Centrifugal Pump and motor

The Goulds 7AI1N9D0 is a Centrifugal Pump and Motor, 3656M Series (2-1/2 x 3 - 8), All Iron construction, with a 6.81 Inch Cast Iron Impeller, BUNA Mechanical Seal, 3 Inch NPT Inlet x 2-1/2 Inch NPT Discharge, and is close coupled to a 20 Horsepower, 3500 RPM, 60 HZ, 230/460 Volt, 3 Phase, TEPE (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, Premium Efficiency) Motor. The Goulds 3656 Series pumps are designed for a variety of water supply, recirculation, and cooling applications, with an enclosed cast iron impeller, dynamic balancing, and replaceable cast iron wear rings to reduce losses and extend pump life. The close-coupled design mounts the pump directly to the motor, saving space and eliminating coupling alignment and re-alignment after service, and back pull-out construction allows the rotating element to be removed without disturbing the piping or moving the motor for shorter maintenance downtime. Replaceable wearing components, including a stainless steel shaft sleeve and casing and hub wear rings, allow the parts subject to wear to be renewed rather than replacing larger pump components. A rigid cast iron motor adapter provides support, with registered fits maintaining positive pump and motor alignment without shimming. Bearings are located in and are part of the motor. Units may be installed horizontally, inclined or vertically with the motor above the pump. The pump uses a Carbon/Ceramic/BUNA-N Type 21 mechanical seal and BUNA-N O-rings/gaskets rated for liquid temperatures up to 212 degrees F (100 degrees C). Suction and discharge connections are 3 Inch NPT Inlet x 2-1/2 Inch NPT Discharge, and rotation is clockwise when viewed from the motor end.
