Goulds Pump 5AB1LBC1 Centrifugal Pump and motor

The Goulds 5AB1LBC1 is a 3656S Series Centrifugal Pump and Motor, with All Bronze construction, a 6.75 Inch Silicon-Brass Impeller, EPR Mechanical Seal, 2 Inch NPT Inlet x 1-1/2 Inch NPT Discharge, and is close coupled to a 10 Horsepower, 3500 RPM, 60 HZ, 230/460 Volt, 3 Phase, DPPE (Drip Proof Premium Efficiency) Motor. The Goulds 3656 Series pumps are designed for a variety of water supply, recirculation, and cooling applications, with an enclosed silicon-brass impeller, dynamic balancing, and replaceable bronze wear rings to reduce losses and extend pump life. The close-coupled design mounts the pump directly to the motor, saving space and eliminating coupling alignment and re-alignment after service, and back pull-out construction allows the rotating element to be removed without disturbing the piping or moving the motor for shorter maintenance downtime. Replaceable wearing components, including a stainless steel shaft sleeve and casing and hub wear rings, allow the parts subject to wear to be renewed rather than replacing larger pump components. A rigid cast iron motor adapter provides support, with registered fits maintaining positive pump and motor alignment without shimming. Bearings are located in and are part of the motor. Units may be installed horizontally, inclined or vertically with the motor above the pump. The pump uses a Carbon/Sil-Carbide/EPR Type 21 mechanical seal and EPR O-rings/gaskets rated for liquid temperatures up to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C). Suction and discharge connections are 2 Inch NPT Inlet x 1-1/2 Inch NPT Discharge, and rotation is clockwise when viewed from the motor end.
