The Goulds 1SV14TA8C20 is a Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pump and Motor, e-SV Series 1SV, 14 stages, with 304 Stainless Steel construction, 1-1/4 Inch oval flanged NPT threaded, in-line suction and discharge, Carbon/Silicon Carbide/Viton Mechanical Seal, and is close coupled to a 1/2 Horsepower, 1750 RPM, 60 HZ, 230/460 Volt, 3 Phase, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) 56C frame Motor. The Goulds e-SV Series is a fabricated stainless steel vertical multistage pump: an energy saving, non-priming pump coupled to a standard premium-efficient motor, built to withstand mechanically aggressive and high temperature liquids and designed to extend uptime and reduce lifecycle costs. Its hydraulics, combined with a high-efficiency EISA compliant motor, deliver maximum efficiency. This Oval-304 configuration has an AISI 304 stainless steel pump body and AISI 304 stainless steel impellers and diffusers, with AISI 316L stainless steel casing and seal plate, AISI 316 shaft. The balanced impeller design reduces axial thrust for long standard motor bearing life; a floating, self-aligning, glass filled, high temperature polymer diffuser wear ring withstands corrosive, aggressive and high temperature liquids and protects against abrasion and debris; and tungsten carbide bushings serve as the bearings, for longevity and heavy duty applications such as boiler feed. The liquid end is held in place by tie rods, and top fill plugs with air vents make it easy to remove trapped air from the seal housing. The mechanical seal, to EN 12756 (ex DIN 24960) and ISO 3069, is replaced without removing the motor, reducing repair time by up to 50%; the pump can be repaired right in the piping, the O-ring seat design allows easy outer sleeve disassembly, and a complete repair stack assembly is available for quick and efficient repair. The standard version handles liquid temperatures from -20 to 250 degrees F, this configuration is rated to 230 psi (16 bar), rotation is clockwise looking at the pump from the top down (marked with an arrow on the adapter and the coupling), and the pumps are certified NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 for drinking water. This model is a 14-stage pump: 14 impellers, 2 intermediate bearings, 11 diffusers and 2 diffusers with bushing between the initial stage and the final diffuser. It is fitted with a Carbon/Silicon Carbide/Viton mechanical seal with Viton o-rings. Suction and discharge connections are 1-1/4 Inch oval flanged NPT threaded, in-line suction and discharge. This pump is the 1SV14TA40 liquid end, also sold on its own less motor, close coupled to the V04A34F5BB2S motor. The motor is a 1/2 Horsepower, 1750 RPM, 60 HZ, 230/460 Volt, 3 Phase, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) 56C frame Motor.
