The March 320-CP-MD-230V is a Centrifugal Magnetic Drive Pump and Motor unit, with Polypropylene front and rear housing, Polypropylene impeller, Viton o-ring, Ceramic shaft and thrust washer, 1/2 inch Male NPT Inlet by 3/8 inch Male NPT Outlet Ports, and is coupled to a 1/12 Horsepower, 3450 RPM, 230 Volt AC, Single Phase Motor that has a 3 foot long cord. This pump is a centrifugal magnetic drive pump, which eliminates the need for a shaft seal. This seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pump ideal for applications such as chemical recirculation and chemical transfer. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 3.3 gallons per minute at 1 feet, and its maximum head is 40 Feet (17PSI). The standard wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of Polypropylene, Viton, and Ceramic. The inlet connection is 1/2 inch male pipe thread, and the outlet is 3/8 inch male pipe thread. The maximum internal pressure the pump can tolerate is 50PSI, and the maximum liquid temperature is 190 Fahrenheit or 87 Celsius. The March 320-CP-MD centrifugal magnetic drive pump is capable of handling mildly or highly corrosive chemicals, acids, and solvents. This pump is not self-priming, and lacks a suction lift, and requires a flooded suction - the liquid must flow naturally to the pump. It cannot be run dry because the impeller requires the liquid being pumped for lubrication. Do not operate the pump until liquid is inside of the pump and ever run the pump dry.
