Product Information :

The March 0155-0333-0100 is a Self Priming Centrifugal Magnetic Drive Pump and Air Motor unit, with Glass Filled Kynar impeller, Glass Filled Kynar housings, Viton o-ring, Ceramic shaft and thrust washers, Carbon bushing, 1-1/2 inch Female NPT Inlet by 1 inch Male NPT Outlet Ports, and is coupled to a 0.95 Horsepower, Air Motor Motor. This pump is a centrifugal magnetic drive pump, which eliminates the need for a shaft seal. This seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pump ideal for applications such as chemical recirculation, chemical transfer, and scrubber systems. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 40 gallons per minute at 12 feet, and its maximum head is 65 Feet (28PSI). The priming container and pump must be filled completely with liquid before turning the pump on. The self-priming container holds approximately 1.75 gallons of liquid. When the pump is fully primed, it is capable of having a suction lift of 12 feet in 60 seconds. The standard wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of glass filled Kynar, Viton, Carbon, and Ceramic. The inlet connection is 1-1/2 inch male pipe thread, and the outlet is 1 inch male pipe thread. The standard motor is a Compressed Air Motor which may require 95PSI and 30CFM. The maximum internal pressure the pump can tolerate is 40PSI, and the maximum liquid temperature is 180 Fahrenheit or 82 Celsius. The March SP-TE-7K-MD-AM centrifugal magnetic drive pump is capable of handling mildly or highly corrosive chemicals, acids, and solvents. It cannot be run dry because the impeller requires the liquid being pumped for lubrication. Do not operate the pump until liquid is inside of the pump and ever run the pump dry. The motor on this pump is an air motor with an 1/4 inch NPT air connection. Install a moisture trap, filter, and an automatic airline lubricator in the air line just ahead of the air motor. Rated performance capacity is up to 40 GPM open flow, and up to 65 feet total dynamic head. At the maximum head of 65 feet, the flow will be lower than the rated capacity of 40 GPM. The maximum temperature for this pump is 180 degrees F.

Applications

There are many applications that the March 015503330100 are used in. Typical applications for this pump include chemical recirculation, chemical transfer, and scrubber systems. They are ideal for non ported tanks and siphon feed tanks. The SPTE7KMDAM has pumped Acetic Acid, Citric Acid, Ethylene Glycol, Formaldehyde, Hydrochloric Acid Muriatic, Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Nitric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sulfuric Acid, Fresh Water, Salt Water, DI Water, and many more chemicals. Liquids containing ferrous metal fines should not be pumped. This pump may have to be modified to pump liquids or chemicals with specific gravities, viscosities, or elevated temperatures different then ambient water. A magnetic drive pump is sealless, preventing any leakage that is normally associated with a conventional seal pump. Not only does the absence of a seal prevent the leakage of potentially dangerous and expensive liquids, it reduces maintenance time spent on the pump. In any magnetic drive pump, there are only two moving parts, the drive magnet and the impeller. With only two moving parts, there is little to break in the pump, and this pump is serviceable with a screwdriver. The simpler the pump, the less chance there is for failure. A magnetic drive pump is your answer to for a long lasting, dependable, reliable pump. Install the pump as near to the suction source and as low as possible with a flooded suction. The Pump should be mounted horizontally on a foundation secured by anchor bolts on a flat, stable surface or supports which are suitable to prevent movement of the pump and motor when in operation. It is advisable to mount the motor on a dampening/insulation surface to reduce noise and vibration caused by the moving components while operation. Always ensure that the outlet port is higher than the inlet port. This allows a path for the air to escape through. If the outlet is not higher than air can build up and may cause problems within the system. The pump should never be mounted vertically with the pump head at the lowest point. This will create an air pocket within the pump chamber and may cause problems.
