The March 0155-0036-0312 is a Centrifugal Magnetic Drive Pump and Motor unit, with 316 Stainless Steel front housing, 316 Stainless Steel rear housing, 316 Stainless Steel impeller, Teflon o-ring, Ceramic shaft and thrust washers, Carbon bushing, 1-1/2 inch Female NPT Inlet by 1 inch Male NPT Outlet Ports, and is coupled to a 1-1/2 Horsepower, 3450 RPM, 230/460 Volts AC, Three Phase, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) Motor. This pump is a centrifugal magnetic drive pump, which eliminates the need for a shaft seal. This seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pump ideal for applications such as chemical recirculation, chemical transfer, and scrubber systems. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 53 gallons per minute at 10 feet, and its maximum head is 57.5 Feet (25PSI). The standard wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of 316 Stainless Steel, Teflon, Carbon, and Ceramic. The inlet connection is 1-1/2 inch female pipe thread, and the outlet is 1 inch male pipe thread. The maximum internal pressure the pump can tolerate is 200PSI, and the maximum liquid temperature is 250 Fahrenheit or 121 Celsius. The March TE-7S-MD centrifugal magnetic drive pump is capable of handling mildly or highly corrosive chemicals, acids, and solvents. This pump is not self-priming, and lacks a suction lift, and requires a flooded suction - the liquid must flow naturally to the pump. It cannot be run dry because the impeller requires the liquid being pumped for lubrication. Do not operate the pump until liquid is inside of the pump and ever run the pump dry.
