The Little Giant 518020 is a 1-EAYS Small Submersible Industrial Parts Washer Solvent Pump, Epoxy Encapsulated, Direct Drive, rated for 170 GPH gallons per hour at 1 foot of head open flow, with a 1/4 inch MNPT outlet port, coupled to a 1/125 Horsepower, 115 Volt, single phase Motor that has a 6 foot cord. This Epoxy encapsulated, centrifugal pump is designed to be used in submerged parts washer applications only. Nylon volute, epoxy filled polyester and aluminum motor housing. 6' power cord with 3/8" MNPT conduit connector at pump housing. 1/4" MNPT discharge. For pumping unheated metal parts cleaning solvent which is UL classified as PJQU, as described in the Gas and Oil Equipment Directory. These refined petroleum distillates are free from tendency to heat spontaneously; they have a closed cup flash point no lower than 100F. This pump uses a 1/125 HP motor and a 1/4 inch MNPT diacharge. It can pump liquids with a maximum temperature of 120 F. The pump's housing is made from polyester; its cover, aluminum; its volute, impeller and screen, nylon; and its shaft seal, Viton. This pump uses an epoxy encapsulated motor, a Viton shaft seal, conduit fitting for mounting, and a 6 foot plugless cord. It is designed specifically and exclusively for use in submerged part washer applications. It has UR and C-CSA listings for PJQU solvents. It can pump up to 170 GPH at 1 foot

Applications
There are many applications that the Little Giant 518020 are used in. Typical applications for this pump include Submersible for pumping unheated metal parts cleaning solvent which is UL classified as PJQU.
To install, thread power cord of pump through conduit extending from under the wash basin and attach the conduit to the conduit fitting at cord outlet. Rigid metal conduit stand pipe must be attached to the conduit fitting in order to protect the electrical cord. Be sure that the discharge of the pump is in line with the flexible tubing extending from under the wash basin. WARNING Power cord supplied with this pump should not be in contact with the solvent. The solvent can dissolve the cord insulation causing an electrical short which can lead to possible injury. Attach the flexible tubing to the 1/4 inch NPT discharge; tighten the threaded coupling securely. This pump is equipped with a threewire power cord with a grounding wire for your protection against shock hazard andshould be connected to a threepronged plug or wired directly to anon/off power switch whichever is used on the parts washer. Consult nameplate data for proper voltage and frequency. Please note, the black and white or blue and brown wires are live and the green or green/yellow wire is the ground wire. Place pump/wash basin properly on holding tank; be sure that the pump is submerged in the cleaning solvent. See parts washer instruction for proper level of cleaning solvent. These pumps were tested while operating dry and within an enclosure. The resulting temperature rise may require a low liquid level cutoff to be present in this end use application
