The Johnson 10-24190-2 is a Plastic PA66 thermoplastic Centrifugal Circulation Pump and Motor with Plastic PA66 thermoplastic Impeller, 1-1/2 inch Hose Inlet by 1-1/2 inch Hose Outlet Ports, coupled to a 24 Volts DC Motor. The motor has a IP rating of IP31. The motor is a permanent magnet, ball bearing mounted motor, designed for continuous operation, and has superior permanently lubricated bearings which allows continual operation. This high quality circulation pump was designed to meet the demands for heating and cooling systems on boats, trains, buses, commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles and motor-homes. Small, compact, and specifically designed for circulation duties, this continuously rated pump provides trouble-free operation. Do not use this pump for petrol, petroleum products, or fluids with a flashpoint below 37 degrees C. The maximum temperature for this pump is Minimum of minus -40 degrees F to Maximum of plus +212 degree F degrees F.

Applications

Typical applications for the 10241902 are circulation of water, glycol and antifreeze in heating system for cars, buses, trains and boats, recreation vehicles, etc. It is also typically used in circulation for cooling fresh water in vehicles. This is a good allround circulation pump wherever selfpriming is not essential. This pump is a normalpriming centrifugal pump and should be mounted in a manner that ensures that they are always flooded or else be primed before being switched on. The pump should never be run dry, as that will burn out the mechanical seal in the pump. The direction of rotation of the pump is clockwise, viewed from the front towards the body see rotation arrow. Use full size hose diameter at the inlet. Reduced hose diameter at inlet gives reduced performance and risk of cavitation which can cause damage in the pump.
