The Groco WSB-500 is a Nylon WSB Series 1/2 inch Fresh Water Strainer with 304 SS Basket and 1/2 Inch by 1/2 Inch Ports. These fresh water strainers are designed to protect from debris keep water pumps and systems running at their optimal performance. It has a white nylon strainer head and clear plastic sight glass, and a mount bracket is included. The sight Glass unscrews for filter basket cleaning. Use the 304 SS basket for fresh-water filtration.

Applications

General Installation Locate the strainer in a vertical orientation between the inlet seacock and the engine raw water pump in a location that will allow routing maintenance. Leave at least 12 inches above the top of the strainer for removal of the filter basket for cleaning.
