Product Information :

The Gorman Rupp Industries (GRI) model # 30600-007 is a Peristaltic Pump coupled to a 100 RPM, 230 Volt AC Motor. These pumps are low cost, are easy to service, and have minimal maintenance with no valves or seals. The only material in contact with the liquid is the Norprene tubing. They are self-priming up to 20 feet, and are chemically resistant. Peristaltic pumps operate on a positive displacement principle. Because there are few moving parts and no valves or seals, peristaltic pumps are virtually maintenance free. No tools or disassembly is required to replace the tubing. The standard Norprene tubing I.D. is 1/4 inch, and 3/16 inch is also available. For estimating flow rates, 1/4 inch tubing provides 2.9 ml per revolution and 3/16 inch tubing provides 1.25 ml per revolution. The Maximum Flow Rate of these pumps is up to 360 ml/m, and the maximum Discharge Pressure is up to 20 PSI. The Maximum Fluid Temperature is up To 170 degrees F (76 degrees C). The maximum recommended speed for pump is 120 R.P.M. (Note slower R.P.M. will give longer life to pump.) The pump has been designed to handle a wide range of liquid viscosities. It may be good practice when pumping the heavier liquids to keep the liquid velocity (pump speed) as low as possible. When pumping liquids which may tend to settle out, extremely corrosive solutions or any liquid which could become viscous with time, flush pump after use to increase pump life. The pump has the ability to discharge into a pressurized system. However, if system or discharge pressure exceeds the recommended maximum of the tubing, tubing life will be shortened.

Applications

These Peristaltic pumps are ideal for slurries, abrasive, viscous and corrosive liquids because only the Norprene tubing is in contact with the solution. Applications include a variety of chemical dispensing systems.
