The Gianneschi CP40/140-230V is a Bronze CP Series Self Priming Liquid Ring Pump and Motor unit with Bronze Impeller, 1-1/2 Inch by 1-1/2 Inch Ports, coupled to a 2.2 KW (3 Horsepower), 1450 RPM, 230 Volt AC, 50/60 Hz, Single Phase Motor. This pump operates at 2.95 Hp at 60 Hz, it ca go as high as 1750 RPM, and it is self-priming up to 8 m. It is recommended that one install a clapet valve and filter with its suction pipe to prevent any backflow through the pump, and the installer must pump water through it either when rebooting it or when first intializing it in order for it to achieve the necessary suction to be automatically priming. It comes specially equipped with a 316 stainless steel shaft, a high quality ceramic mechanical seal with graphite inox, and a bronze impeller and body, as well as utilizes Class F insulation and IP55 protections. Motor has F class Insulation, IP 55 Protection.

Applications

Typical applications for the CP40/140230V include galleys, pumping seawater and fresh water, bilges, diesel and oil, showers, grey water discharges, as well as liquid intake. This pump is not suitable for viscous liquids or pumping abrasive liquids. Install the pump in a dry and well ventilated location with room temperature not above 50 degrees C.
