Cat Pump # 6810 Plunger Pump

The Cat Pump 6810 is a Plunger Pump, pump end only, with 304 Stainless Steel construction, 1 inch NPT(F) Inlet port x 1/2 inch NPT(F) Discharge port, and is rated for up to 10 GPM, and 10000 PSI at maximum shaft speed of 600 RPM. Manifolds and cylinders are 17-4SS stainless steel. Valve assemblies are made with 455 and 304 stainless steel components. Internal packing assembly includes bronze cylinder supports and UHMW V-packings. See Parts List to confirm material compatibility with the fluid pumped before use. This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is constructed of SFSS heat-treated stainless steel block-style manifolds, solid ceramic plungers, UHMV V-packings and NBR (Buna-N) O-rings. This Plunger pump utilizes spring-loaded closed and hydraulically opened inlet and discharge valves to direct flow through the pump manifold. At the beginning of the stroke, the plunger displaces the liquid in the manifold chamber, forcing the discharge valve open. When the plunger reaches the end of the stroke, the discharge valve closes. As the plunger rod begins its backward stroke, the inlet valve opens to allow more liquid into the manifold chamber, thereby keeping a smooth forward flow of liquid. IMPORTANT : All high-pressure systems require a primary pressure regulating device (e. g. regulator, unloader) and a secondary pressure relief device (e. g. pop-off valve, relief valve). Failure to install such relief devices could result in personal injury or damage to pump or property.
