The Cat Pump 6760 is a Plunger Pump, pump end only, with Brass construction, 2 inch NPT(F) Inlet port x 1 1/4 inch NPT(F) Discharge port, and is rated for up to 60 GPM, and 1200 PSI at maximum shaft speed of 520 RPM. This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is constructed with chrome-plated nickel aluminum bronze manifolds, 316 stainless steel valve assemblies, solid ceramic plungers and standard NBR (Buna-N) seals and O-rings. This Plunger pump utilizes spring-loaded closed and hydraulically opened inlet and discharge valves to direct flow through the pump manifold. At the beginning of the stroke, the plunger displaces the liquid in the manifold chamber, forcing the discharge valve open. When the plunger reaches the end of the stroke, the discharge valve closes. As the plunger rod begins its backward stroke, the inlet valve opens to allow more liquid into the manifold chamber, thereby keeping a smooth forward flow of liquid. IMPORTANT : All high-pressure systems require a primary pressure regulating device (e. g. regulator, unloader) and a secondary pressure relief device (e. g. pop-off valve, relief valve). Failure to install such relief devices could result in personal injury or damage to pump or property.
Cat Plunger Pumps are used across a wide range of highpressure applications, including industrial cleaning, reverse osmosis water treatment, oil and gas operations, and manufacturing. Known for their ability to deliver steady, highoutput pressure, these pumps are ideal for systems requiring durability, chemical resistance, and continuousduty operation. Applications include pressure washing, equipment cooling, misting, pipeline flushing, and hydrostatic testing. Cat Plunger Pumps set the standard for performance in industrial fluid systems.
