Cat Pump # 3570S Plunger Pump

The Cat Pump 3570S is a Plunger Pump, pump end only, with Brass construction, 1 1/2 inch NPT(F) Inlet port x 1 inch NPT(F) Discharge port, and is rated for up to 30 GPM, and 3000 PSI at maximum shaft speed of 1080 RPM. This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is constructed with a chrome-plated brass inlet manifold and a 316 stainless steel block-style discharge manifold, 304 stainless steel valve assemblies, solid ceramic plungers and standard NBR (Buna-N) seals and O-rings. High-strength 316 stainless steel block-style discharge manifold allows high flow and operating pressure for intermittent use on this "S" Series pump. Intermittent use is defined as operating the pump at the maximum rated flow and pressure for no more than 50% of the time in any given hour. This Plunger pump utilizes spring-loaded closed and hydraulically opened inlet and discharge valves to direct flow through the pump manifold. At the beginning of the stroke, the plunger displaces the liquid in the manifold chamber, forcing the discharge valve open. When the plunger reaches the end of the stroke, the discharge valve closes. As the plunger rod begins its backward stroke, the inlet valve opens to allow more liquid into the manifold chamber, thereby keeping a smooth forward flow of liquid. IMPORTANT : All high-pressure systems require a primary pressure regulating device (e. g. regulator, unloader) and a secondary pressure relief device (e. g. pop-off valve, relief valve). Failure to install such relief devices could result in personal injury or damage to pump or property.
