Cat Pump # 2560BH Plunger Pump

The Cat Pump 2560BH is a Plunger Pump, pump end only, with Brass construction, 1 1/4 inch NPT(F) Inlet port x 3/4 inch NPT(F) Discharge port, and is rated for up to 16 GPM, and 3000 PSI at maximum shaft speed of 1510 RPM. This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is constructed with a forged brass inlet manifold and a brass block-style discharge manifold, 304 stainless steel valve assemblies, solid ceramic plungers and standard NBR (Buna-N) seals and O-rings. This pump comes with a machined bearing cover to mate with our76SAEC. 25FRhydraulic bell housing (sold separately), allowing the pump to be driven by an SAE C hydraulic motor. For belt drive, see our model2560pump. This Plunger pump utilizes spring-loaded closed and hydraulically opened inlet and discharge valves to direct flow through the pump manifold. At the beginning of the stroke, the plunger displaces the liquid in the manifold chamber, forcing the discharge valve open. When the plunger reaches the end of the stroke, the discharge valve closes. As the plunger rod begins its backward stroke, the inlet valve opens to allow more liquid into the manifold chamber, thereby keeping a smooth forward flow of liquid. IMPORTANT : All high-pressure systems require a primary pressure regulating device (e. g. regulator, unloader) and a secondary pressure relief device (e. g. pop-off valve, relief valve). Failure to install such relief devices could result in personal injury or damage to pump or property.
